My friends call me Cathy T. I’m a dancer in Las Vegas who is also a GEEK. My Interests include Marketing, Social Media, Blogs, technology, iPhone, cooking, nightlife in Vegas, privacy & abuse on the internet.
I built this site because my friends kept bugging me about finding a site which displays all the news for Las Vegas on a single site plus they love a travel deal. Our content is updated every hour (24/7/365) using over a dozen News sources.
I really enjoy tweaking and hacking WordPress and Themes. My iPhone 3GS is always in my purse and I think it’s a great device. Even though the battery life sucks! I use a mophie juice pack air and this is a great external battery. Yes, you can find me on Twitter, although the service attracts Spammers and some people Tweet way to much.
Behind every great Women is a GEEK boy. When I get stuck or frustrated, I turn to my mentor who believed in my idea and has graciously provided me with all the tools and services to bring this site live. Thank you so much Steve_S.
This site is maintained and built by Cathy. She is the “voice” and “face” of this site. It is her vision and passion which convinced me to provide my services on a pro-bono basis. Cathy is the daughter I never had and deserves all the credit for this site and any income that it may generate. My name is Steve_S and I’m the jack of all trades and a GEEK residing in the Las Vegas valley. I launched my first Web Site in 1998. YIKES! Things have sure changed. During my 11 years of Internet fame, fortune, frustration, and joy, I’ve learned a lot. Built numerous sites, some of which were a smashing success and others were failures. Known best for better or worse as the founder and despotic leader of GV and roasting an Olympic Gold Medal winner. I’ve mellowed a lot and today enjoy helping others. I have extensive technology teaching experience at the College level, with Trade Schools, and Corporations. I learned and taught DTP (Desktop Publishing) and all things Web related. Iv’e co-authored a book or two and formerly wrote a Windows column for a Canadian Publication.
